Tomato Ringspot Virus
Tomato ringspot virus symptoms on plants and leaves of red currants in Corvallis, Oregon.
This virus causes yellow mottling, yellow lines or yellow mosaic patterns in leaves. These symptoms can be seen in early spring and become less noticeable as the season progresses. In Europe, several other viruses of the same group occur (raspberry ringspot, strawberry latent ringspot, arabis mosaic, tomato black ring) but these viruses are not found in North America. Nematodes can transfer these viruses from one plant to another.
