Potato germplasm is a precious international treasure which must be protected and utilized as effectively as possible. NRSP-6 and its sister genebanks around the world have recognized that this can best be done through intergenebank collaboration. Thus, the Association of Potato Intergenebank Collaborators (APIC) have produced a global inventory of wild potato genetic resources that is available on the internet.
