Request Germplasm

The National Plant Germplasm System provides germplasm to support research and education objectives.

Due to the intensive effort and resources required to ensure availability of germplasm for this purpose, we are unable to distribute it for home gardening or other purposes that can utilize readily available commercial cultivars.

Ordering instructions:

If you are not from the United States, refer to this information first.

From inside or outside the U.S., do one of the following:

1. Search for the accessions you want, check it's availability, if available, click "Request this germplasm" and use this tool to continue filling out your request, or
2. Fill out the Request Form, or
3. Send e-mail to the maintenance site of the accession (found with accession query) or to the National Germplasm Resources Laboratory (orders@ars-grin.gov).

Provide the following information:

• Your name
• Organization
• Address
• Phone number
• Special handling instructions
• Accession identifiers desired (use a separate line for each identifier
