Labels for shipping boxes
- Packing lists on the inside and outside of the boxes make for easier handling and inspection by customs officials and plant inspectors.
- Stickers or stamps stating “Perishable Plant Material” or “Do Not Freeze” may improve care and handling of the shipment.
- Ship by the fastest possible method. Check the weather along the likely route and delay shipment if extreme hot or cold weather is likely.
