NAGP is accepting donations for semen & embryos from the following:

  • Cattle
  • Sheep
  • Goats
  • Swine
  • Chickens
  • Aquatics

We will usually accept up to 100 units of semen for any individual animal. We can provide a shipper to collect the material and we will pay for all shipping costs.

To arrange a shipment or to get more information, please contact Dr. Harvey Blackburn (Harvey.Blackburn@ars.usda.gov or 970.495.3268) or Carrie Welsh (Carrie.Welsh@ars.usda.gov or 970.495.3237). When contacting us, please include the breed, number of animals, and the number of units you are interested in donating as well as the location of the germplasm. The donation may be tax deductible.
